Putting the Shopping Community First During COVID-19
To our shopping community, friends, and partners:
Here at the Cascade Village Shopping Center, the health and safety of our community is at the forefront of every decision we make. We’re closely monitoring developments regarding COVID-19, and taking every precaution to protect our patrons, employees, and shop tenants. This includes following guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and our local Department of Health.
Adjusted hours or services
We’re encouraging our tenants to follow CDC guidelines to keep shopping center guests healthy. Some shops have temporarily adjusted their hours, so please contact individual stores for the most up-to-date information.
To comply with CDC recommendations, our restaurants are offering to-go meal services. Many also provide delivery services through apps such as UberEats, GrubHub, and Postmates. Please contact individual restaurants for more information about takeout and delivery options.

Additional steps we’re taking
The CDC guidelines on maintaining workplace cleanliness include more frequent cleaning of high-touch areas, such as doors, counters, and payment processing terminals. Our in-house janitorial team has increased cleaning efforts throughout the shopping center specifically focusing more energy on restrooms, patio areas, and other high volume contact areas.
We’re also encouraging you—our patrons—and shopping center employees to take extra precautions to avoid spreading illness. Precautions include practicing good hygiene with frequent hand washing, limiting food sharing and food handling, and avoiding close contact with people who are sick. If you’re experiencing respiratory symptoms, fever, or cough, we ask that you stay home and recover.
We’re working closely with the city of Bend and state of Oregon officials, as well as the Deschutes County Health Department and Oregon Health Authorities to ensure compliance with safety recommendations. We’re also continuing to monitor the situation and the government’s response. If there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 at the shopping center, we will alert the community and work with local, state, and federal health officials to ensure an appropriate plan is in place to help curtail the spread of the virus.
Putting safety first
We understand that this is a developing situation, and that safety recommendations may change rapidly. However, we’re confident that our community will emerge from this situation stronger than ever before. Thank you for continuing to support your local shops, restaurants, and businesses during this trying time.
