Oregon’s Stay At Home Order and the CVSC
In a manner of weeks, our normal routines have rapidly changed as new information on the coronavirus is released (seemingly on the hour). However, it is during this time that we are also seeing our community come together in beautiful ways––neighbors helping neighbors, strangers helping strangers. The CVSC is proud to be part of this incredible community.
Cooperating with Executive Order No. 20-21
With that said, we are also doing our part to comply with all new regulations as they come from the State. We are cooperating with Executive Order No. 20-21 and focusing on ways that we can keep our employees, patrons, and shopping center well cared for at this time.
And while this is likely one of dozens or hundreds of similar posts that you’ve read, our goal is to keep you informed. Our biggest priority at the moment is to take steps toward keeping our teams and the community safe while providing valuable services.
Our adapting stores
We have seen all of our stores make incredible changes and sacrifices for the last couple of weeks. Best Buy and Dicks, for example, are both offering curbside services so they can protect their employees and continue to serve the public. Trader Joe’s is also taking preventative measures by limiting the number of guests allowed in the store at a time, and by keeping people aware of how many items they buy (limiting two per person). Our local restaurants and outstanding grocery stores at the CVSC are also doing their best to adapt and stay open to serve the public during this time.
We commend the employees who have continued to work hard to keep these businesses running, despite many of their friends and family who are able to work from home. It is in times like this that, despite a global pandemic occurring, we are reminded what it means to put others before ourselves.

We’re all in this together.
